Breakfast Scramble Remix

Have you ever been in between on your brunch decision, meaning you’re not sure whether to choose a breakfast or lunch? Well today I have the Breakfast Scramble Remix which will save you and all your brunch woes. The remix for this is you guessed it, your breakfast scramble goes on a pizza. Now I know I just said pizza, but trust me this tastes absolutely delicious and it’s perfect for a lazy Sunday. This dish has all the best flavors you would want to have on your brunch remix, a cheesy taste and texture, a classic hint of marinara sauce and great seasonings like chives, garlic and onion to bring the pie together.
Now the secret to making this dish is that you double cook the tofu. This means making it in the pan, like you do in the breakfast scramble but also baking it. This gives a nice slightly crisp and firm topping. The other tip is to bake the tofu in a layer of cheese, this makes the toppings stay on. If there isn’t anything I hate more, it’s my pizza toppings falling off my pizza.Now about the dough, most refrigerated dough is vegan. The key is looking at the ingredients. Breakfast Scramble Remix
Serves: 4 Prep Time: 5 Minutes Cook Time: 20 Minutes Total Time: 25 Minutes
1/2 block extra firm tofu
1 Tbsp Dairy Free Butter
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp of Turmeric
2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
1 tsp Chives
1/2 cup Follow Your Heart Cheddar "Cheese"
1/2 cup Follow Your Heart Mozzarella Cheese
1/4 Cup Marinara Sauce
1 Package refrigerated pizza dough
* An Extra Sprinkle of Garlic and Onion Powder
1.So first you need to take out the water in the tofu. If you have never done this before all you have to do it take a few paper towels and place half of the block of tofu on a cutting board, and press gently on the tofu. (You can leave the rest of the tofu in a resealable bag for later use)
2.Next turn on your pan turn on medium heat, add a bit of diary free butter and crumble your tofu with a fork and add it to your pan then add nutritional yeast, turmeric, garlic and onion powder.
4.Cook your ingredients until the tofu is a little crunchy. Pre Heat oven as directed.
5. Roll out your dough onto a pizza pan, pre-bake your pizza crust for about 8 minutes (If your packaging recommends)
6. After the pizza is pre-baked, add your marinara sauce, some of the cheese, tofu scramble, then the rest of the cheese, and chives. *For extra flavor add a little sprinkle of Garlic and Onion powder
7. Bake for 14 minutes, then enjoy
